Early Childhood Education is pivotal to the formation of the child and form the building blocks for future learning and development from a very early age. SEF is helping to establish an early childhood development (ECD) centre for children that will offer high quality educational care and support.
The first centre is set to open it’s doors mid 2011 with Fikile Mashinini driving the project.
The ECD centre will operate as a small social enterprise providing both employment and income for the community members involved in the project while simultaneously meeting the social need for quality educational offerings at the early life stages of the child.
