Like all non-profit organisations funding is an on-going challenge which is one of the reasons we also try to generate earned income on projects where it is appropriate. However, while we spend a great deal of our primary focus working out how to transform monetary value into long term sustainable social value – we also spend a great deal of time working out how we can secure this monetary value in the first place. Perhaps this is where you can assist?
- How about hosting a fund-raising dinner or party with your friends?
- Or find out if your company operates a matched-giving scheme that fits any of our programmes?
- Or find a prize and create a raffle with SEF as beneficiary?
- Or hold a yard-sale with the proceeds directed towards social improvement?
- Or – for the more energetic – how about running the comrades or cycling the Argus for SEF?
- Or auction off some awesome photos taken by our very own students?
- Or encourage your friends to follow your lead and fund-raise themselves?
