My feelings about the English Language being taught in schools now a days is one of great concern for our students the OBE cirriculum is not nearly challenging enough. The standard of our English language is seriously being compromised.

English marks are supposed to indicate the students ability to analyze and reason, skills very necessary for futher education and life for that matter. the language ciurriculum should be well thought out and definitely more interesting than it surrently is.

It is a very scary thought to think that English of such a mediocre standard is being taught and that these are the students that will be entering our tertiary institutions.
